The Vaelorian Codex is Blackoath Entertainment's official zine for Ker Nethalas: Into the Midnight Throne. Each issue of the Vaelorian Codex offers a mix of short content updates for Ker Nethalas, such as new Domains to explore, new rules and systems, explorations of specific themes within the game, new enemies and items, and more. In this First Issue, you will find:

• Commoner Player Characters: Instead of playing as an experienced fighter, start the game as a helpless commoner, making surviving the necropolis that much harder, but potentially more beneficial. 

• Flaws & Merits: New ways of personalizing your character, granting them both an edge and a potentially fatal failing.

• Optional Rules: A collection of new, optional rules, ranging from new damage types for weapons, ways to speed up combat, and more.

• The Cult of the Crow: A new Domain, written by the one and only Alan Bahr. Will you survive the strange machinations of this sect of Kalatha worshipers?

• The Bonefields: A whole new Domain for your survivor to explore, full of treasure but also uniquely powerful enemies. Will you face the wandering Flesh Giant, or hide from its shadow?

• New enemies (both regular ones and Overseers), new items, events, and much more!

This is not a standalone game. A copy of Ker Nethalas: Into the Midnight Throne is required in order to play.
