In this latest expansion for Ker Nethalas: into the Midnight Throne, players can find a plethora of new options for their characters. Introducing five new Mastery Abilities for each existing Mastery, plus multiple new Masteries, the number of potential character builds is expanded exponentially.
In the Book of Masteries you can find:
• 5 new Abilities for each existing Mastery, one for each existing Tier, for a total of 100 new Abilities for existing Masteries.
• Several new Masteries: The Archivist, focused on using their vast knowledge to give them an edge in the necropolis; the Blood Adept, manipulating their own blood and that of their enemies to devastating effects; the Commander, leading from the front and granting powerful advantages to their followers; the Thornbinder, controlling plant life to do their bidding; and the savage Caustic Blade, specializing in deadly poisons and corrosive substances that can eat away at both flesh, metal, and bone. Every new Mastery possessess 10 Abilities each, placing them in line with the new standard.
• A completely new type of Mastery: Soulbound Masteries, such as the Fatebender, capable of twisting time and even space to their will, erase events, and choose the most beneficial timeline for them, and the Voidborn, a hole in the fabric of Aether, making them incredibly deadly against magic-centered opponents.
